Welcome to Comfort Life’s Terms and Conditions page. By using our website, WhatsApp, or services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions, which, together with our Privacy Policy, govern Comfort Life's relationship with you.
‘Comfort Life,’ ‘we,’ ‘our,’ or ‘us’ refer to the company providing handyman, maintenance, and related services. The term ‘you,’ ‘your,’ ‘the client,’ or ‘user’ refers to the person booking or using our services.
General Use
The content of this website and our communications are for the explanation and implementation of our services. Content is subject to change without notice. We use cookies to improve browsing experience and personalize services. By using our website, you consent to the use of cookies. Comfort Life reserves the right to change, amend, or cancel these Terms & Conditions at any time.
Service Bookings & Payments
By booking a service with Comfort Life, you authorize us to provide handyman, plumbing, painting, electrical, or other maintenance services as per your request. Once a booking is completed, the service fees are non-refundable unless a violation has occurred on our part.
We may update service pricing from time to time. You are responsible for any applicable taxes (except taxes based on our income). Payments may be made via cash, bank transfer, or online (Visa/MasterCard debit and credit cards in AED or agreed currency). If paying by card, you must retain a copy of transaction records and our policies for reference.
Cancellations & Refunds
If you wish to cancel a booking, a minimum of 6 hours’ notice is required. Late cancellations may result in a cancellation fee of up to AED 100. Refunds (if approved) will be processed only through the original mode of payment.
Customer Responsibilities
- Clients must provide safe and accessible entry to the property.
- Clients are responsible for securing valuables and fragile items before service begins.
- Comfort Life and its technicians are not responsible for pre-existing faults in wiring, plumbing, or structural issues.
Liability & Safety
Comfort Life ensures services are provided by trained professionals. However, each user must exercise reasonable caution and safeguard their property. Comfort Life is not responsible for damages or losses caused by misuse, negligence, or incidents outside our reasonable control (e.g., electrical failures, water leakage due to faulty property infrastructure).
In case of any damage claims, you must report:
- Missing/Stolen items: within 48 hours.
- Damaged items: within 24 hours.
Minors & Registration
Users under 18 are not permitted to register or book services through our platform.
Intellectual Property
All website material, including layout, design, graphics, and text, is owned or licensed by Comfort Life. Unauthorized reproduction or misuse of content is prohibited.
External Links
Our website may include links to third-party websites. These are for convenience only. We are not responsible for their content or policies.
Communication
By booking a service, you agree to receive confirmations, updates, and reminders via WhatsApp, SMS, email, or phone. Marketing messages may also be sent, but you may opt out at any time.
Quality Assurance
We aim to maintain the highest service standards through:
- Unannounced visits – to ensure proper work quality.
- On-site inspections – walk-through checks during service.
- Follow-up calls – to confirm your satisfaction after service completion.
Governing Law
Your use of this website and our services, and any disputes arising, shall be governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates (UAE Main Courts jurisdiction).
Final Provisions
If any part of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will still apply. Comfort Life may transfer or assign these Terms without prior consent. We do not trade with or provide services to OFAC and sanctioned countries.
